Congressional Summit Planned for February 16, 2005
Corporate Role in Homeland Security to Be Developed
Corporate and political leaders from across
the country will meet in Washington, D.C. at the Capitol on February 16,
2005 for a public/private sector summit to discuss the role of corporations
in homeland security, and the issues facing corporations regarding liability,
preparedness and readiness. Called Corporate Readiness and Preparedness
Summit, delegates from a wide range of corporations, government agencies,
federal and state office holders and public policy, legal and terrorism
experts will meet to explore the emerging role and responsibilities that
corporations have not ony to their own commerical viability during crisis,
but also to their employees and community to be prepared and ready to
respond to crisis. Co-Sponsors include the Defense

conference on security convenes: top security experts to speak
Representatives from all sectors of America
will gather at the Washington Convention Center beginning May 26, 2005
to discuss the current state of security for the United States, and hear
directly from representatives of the Department of Homeland Security
and other federal and state agency representatives on emerging security
issues and actions being taken to repond to terrorist threats. GOVSEC
Conference this year has been expanded to include two additional co-located
conferences: US Law Enforcement and READY! which allows conference delegates

2005: National Homeland Security Conference for Corporations

2005 in Washington, D.C.
CorpAlert 2005 is the national conference on the corporate role in homeland security and is being held in Washington, DC, to help corporations share information on how to be ready and prepared for crisis and become involved in community response planning. Sessions will include meetings with top corporate, elected and government officials to help corporations plan their strategies to continue operations during a local or national crisis.
